Pakistan Media Conference 2009 will be held from 26th to 28th June 2009 at Karachi Expo Center. The conference is a part of Media & Entertainment Expo and Conference 2009.
The Pakistan Media Conference 2009 (PMC) shall attempt to bring to the table various issues and problems that concern the Pakistan media and entertainment businesses in Pakistan and try and find pragmatic solutions to these concerns. The 3 day televised event shall focus on the following subject areas:
Day 1: Intellectual Property Rights
Day 2: Media Policy & Government Regulation
Day 3: Open Q&A Session
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, The International Protection Rights Organization, The United Producers Association, The Jang Group, Vibe TV, The Department for Information & Archives Government of Sindh, and other such prominent institutions have been invited to participate in this Conference.
The audience shall comprise of industry professionals who shall get an opportunity to voice their specific concerns to a Panel consisting of government officials, regulatory bodies and trade association heads.
Based on the feedback from the participants of the conference, a comprehensive report shall prepared proposing solutions and recommendations to the impediments and issues faced by the Pakistan media & entertainment industry at large. This dossier shall be forwarded to relevant Government officials, departments and other relevant bodies for early action.
This event is managed by B&H International (Pvt.) Ltd, that is headed by famous singer Zoheb Hassan.
