The Cable Operators Association Pakistan (COAP) has announced boycott to air Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament matches because of bias attitude with Pakistani cricket players.

While addressing the press conference on Thursday, the office bearers of COAP said that the IPL has insulted the whole nation by ignoring Pakistani players in the tournament. “We can’t bear such attitude of the IPL.”

They said that all the cable operators are with Pakistani players and have decided not to air IPL matches throughout the country. They also made it clear that all the foreign sports channels that will air these matches will also be closed
