I do not like the way Saima interviewed shrin mazari. The reason for my dislike is not that she was trying to high light responible journalism but the fact that she was herself acting as a part of conflict.she did not bother saying anything about illegal harrassment of pakistani journalist byUS authorities when ms Mizari mentionaed that in a response to her questions. She rather ended up accusing Mizari of being anti-US.

She was not concerned by safety threatrs to the life of innocent pakistani jounalist who was harrassed by US authories and branded as taliban yet she was sharp at accusing mizari of anti US when a US jounalist come to pakistan and viloate clear cut rules made by goverment about a war zone area.
That was totally one sided and she was talking on the behalf of US media rather than paksitani media in the name of responsioble journalism. She also didnt not answer the genuine points raised by ms mizari about the illegal and anti-pakistani activities black water and US activites under the cover of jounalism and the fact that those very activities are the reason behind suspicions about US based journalists.

Also i did a little re-search to find out picturesof her dancing with US diplomats.I live in UK,have multi-cultural friends and definately am more open minded than her.I don't mind her participation in US embassy parties but i do mind her judgement getting affected by that! This was no journalism. In noway BBC would have allowed her to interview some one in this manner.Sitting in Pakistan and taking the wrong side simply means you are ought to be klicked out.I am sure in fututre any British or US originated jounalist including ms Mohsin herself would keep the trick in their mind.Living in UK myself does make me realise that a british layman on the street has no idea about Pakistan or Pakistani nation. They certainly judge Pakistan from the actions and characters of minority of immigrants who moved there few decades ago from remote villages of Pakistan..Infact the mian stream pakistanis back home are straight, blunt and dont compromise on their rights. The best thing for her is to come back to her country!

Saima was sacked from DAWN TV, a few weeks before DAWN English bulletin was closed. She ran 20 minutes of content as a lead story on prime time DAWN 9.00pm bulletin. Story was against former Ambassador Mansoor Alam, Chairman FLAME, a small NGO Friends of Literacy & Mass Education. The story was given to her by her boy friend Sohail Sultan, who was at that time undergoing legal battles with Mansoor Alam & her daughter. A day or two after the story, pictures of Saima & Sohail Sultan in swimming costumes appeared on Youtube.
