Australian IPTV provider adds 9 Pakistani channels
Nine leading Pakistani television channels can now be accessed in full broadcast quality from FetchTV, the new television service from iiNet.
At this occasion, iiNet’s Chief Technology Officer Greg Bader said iiNet and FetchTV are leading the way in multicultural TV offering in Australia.
“We’re proud to be the first internet provider in Australia to offer this revolutionary television service that includes quality programming for Australia’s diverse population,” Mr Bader said.
“Because we use the iiNet network, we can guarantee the quality of the transmission is comparable to digital broadcasts – it will feel like you are in Pakistan watching television.”
The 9 channels available through the fetchtv Pakistani package from iiNet include Geo News, Geo TV, ARY News, ARY Digital, Hum TV, Aag TV, Masala TV, Style 360 and QTV.
iiNet is Australia’s second largest DSL Internet Service Provider. FetchTV is an Australian founded and owned business, with backing from the Malaysian based ASTRO ALL ASIA NETWORKS subscription TV group. FetchTV is a wholesale subscription TV provider to leading Australian ISPs including iiNet.
