PTV hires Dr. Moeed Pirzada for its upcoming English channel

The state-run Pakistan Television (PTV) has hired Dr Moeed Pirzada from Dunya TV mainly for its English channel that it plans to launch, insiders have told JournalimPakistan.com.
Dr Pirzada has been hired on a whopping monthly salary of Rs 700,000 and would be expected to play a key role in the proposed channel.
The prominent anchor’s hiring comes on the heels of several other signings made by PTV in recent months, among them Mohsin Goraya (Chief Editor), Ashraf Malkham (Head of Reporting) and Kazim Khan (Head of Output).
The government had asked PTV to look into launching an English channel and one for sports. Former Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira had promised the broadcaster the government’s full support in implementing the project.
He had assured PTV the government would be provided new equipment to meet the competition from other channels.

DR. Pirzada will be forced to appreciate, admire as a salary paid Miraasi. He proved that in Pakistan every person has a price and he sold him self for Rs. 700,000 per month. Now who will criticize the corrupt politician. Saat lakh main izzat-e-sadaat bhi gaee.

Dr.Pirzada may be a good anchor, but honestly he doesnt deserve pak.Rs.700,000/-
per month salary, honestly no jealousy at all, since I, was getting this much salary abroad as an avaiation expert, nd reached to this level of salary after 20years of hard work, pakistan is poor country and these people and their highy salaries brought our country to the edge of BARBAADI, I, do agree wz up comment of Shahid Canada
Can some one explain what is he (Dr.Pirzada) producing and at end of the day what is outcome of all that bla Bla from politician to another one, they are the people and many more like them counterproductive activities brought this Pakistan a poor country to the lowest of Low level, where every one and the coming geration s are under debt.
GOD IS THE ONLY SOURCE, WHO CAN HELP PAKISTAN AND THESE PEOPLE.

Some folks are extremely jealous of Mr Pirzada salary I see.
