ARY Channels shift to Asiasat satellite

The ARY Digital Network has leased a C-band transponder on AsiaSat 3S to deliver 11 satellite television channels to Urdu speakers across South Asia.
The network’s flagship entertainment channel ARY Digital Asia will be joined on AsiaSat 3S at 105.5 east by ARY’s news, music, religious, and food channels, as well as its joint venture channels HBO Pakistan and Nickelodeon Pakistan. Contribution feeds of ARY Digital for the Middle East, Europe and the US, will also be available.
“We are pleased to join one of Asia’s most powerful distribution platforms for South Asian television services,” said Salman Iqbal, chief executive officer and president of ARY Digital Network. “AsiaSat 3S is renowned for its unprecedented coverage and excellent audience access in Pakistan and across the region. We are delighted to be on AsiaSat to further expand our viewership, serving all Urdu-speaking television viewers in Asia.”
The ARY Network, founded by Pakistani businessman Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob, commenced operation in 2000, with a private channel aimed at the South Asian community in the UK. Since then it has expanded with licenses from the Government of Pakistan for private satellite television broadcasts. ARY now broadcasts programs across South Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America.
William Wade, president and chief executive officer of Hong Kong-based AsiaSat said: “We are thrilled that ARY Digital Network, one of the world’s leading Urdu-language television networks, has joined AsiaSat 3S. ARY’s exciting and dynamic television channels give our viewers more choices to enhance their TV viewing experience.”

The ARY channels are now on satellite Asiasat 3S (located at 105.5 degrees East). Following are the parameters:

Polarity: Vertical

I request pls don’t move waqt samaa or any news chanel 2 asia set because so news chanel give us information about our pakistan. How do we get QTV in South Africa? By moving to Asiasat they've cut off a large following who watched their channel. I think it's shortsighted if one bears in mind the large muslim/asian population in Africa and South Africa particularly
