Geo News is a news and current affairs channel by Geo Television Network. Geo TV was established in 2002 and in 2005, two separate channels were carved out of it: Geo TV and Geo News.
Geo News is the first channel to provide round the clock news coverage in Pakistan. With over 140 reporters and cameramen stationed throughout the country, Geo TV has the full infrastructure support of the Jang Group’s 658 countrywide reporters/ stringers/ correspondents network, Pakistan’s leading print media group. Geo hasits main station bureaus located in all major cities of Pakistan- Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta. It has a single person reporting units in almost 22 locations throughout the country. |
